About Me

Since my childhood, reading and languages were my favourite hobbies. Home we have quite big library; many volumes of classic Russian authors. Thus, I spent hours and hours "eating" one book after another.
3 years in a row I took part in high-schools county contests, always getting some prize. In the final year of high-school I won the prize of language and literature in the National Russian contest.
I started studying English from the 2nd grade. My first achievement from that year was that I memorized a poetry for Mothers' Day that I still remember:

My dear-dear mummy,
I love you very much,
I want you to be happy
On the 8th of March.

The High-school studies very harmoniously grew up over the time into taking up the courses of English Economic in the National Economic University in Kiev. This also included developing professional skills needed in international companies.
Each summer, for four years, I worked as a translating guide for two touristic agencies on the sea-side for English-speaking tourists.
From my last University year and after graduating as an M.A. in management, I worked in marketing department in an international company where duties included marketing, advertisement, development of economic relationships etc. During that period I communicated with our partners abroad, translated and proofread incoming and outcoming mailing.
As a continuation of personal development since 2005 I took up PHD in management in the biggest University in South-Eastern Europe (Babes-Bolyai) having all exams, papers and thesis in English.
